The site/app has a bunch of commonly used terms you better get familiar with. We call it the "Kerbsides argot/slang"!
Some of the words I've included here are really a thing from web programming and browsers stuff, some others have been introduced to define features on the site. Ezy.
Kerb You know is a stone edging to a pavement or raised path, but here a kerb means ad.
Road Our users Feed is the "Road", not a "Wall", and is full of kerbs.
Kerbbie Is any Kerbsides User.
LocaTag To make the magic happen we split addresses into tags that we called "location tags" and to shorten it "locatags".
AdMap Is a Map where we show the Road Ads
GeoLocation Is a function we use in HTML (HTML is the standard markup language for Web pages) to locate a user's position. Geolocation is most accurate for devices with GPS, like smartphones.
IP IP address stands for "Internet Protocol address". The Internet Protocol is a set of rules for connecting to Kerbsides website. An IP address identifies a network or device on the internet. The information we show about your location is similar to the information you find in places like www.tracemyip.org
