The Idea

The idea of developing Kerbsides has been on my mind since 2017.

When I arrived in Australia I realised how the people help each other by leaving household items on the Kerbsides a few days before the Collection Day so locals can go through the things and pick what they need.

This website doesn´t pretend to be another Gumtree or FB Group. I developed the platform with the idea of posting "things (photo) on the spot (location)", and things that usually don't last long on the kerbsides.

The website meets the purpose while people keep posting: you can "see" whats on the "kerbs", get the location/s and trace route/s if desidered.

We promote reuse, donate, recycle or swaping unwanted items, never dumping. Please comply with any Council or LGA legislation regarding clean-ups and collections.

I do get NOTHING by running this site/app but the whole satisfaction of people joinning and posting 😋 The API actually costs about a $100/month to sort out addresses requests and maps on the site/app.

I'm the only person behind the scenes, just in case you're wondering: my name is Pedro Martin and I am the Websites Builder (websitesbuilder.com.au), I'm living in OzLand since 2017. Proud father of 4 gorgeous kids (1 spanyard and 3 aussies) I´ve been dedicated to website design and marketing business on Internet for the last 20 years.

This site has been roughly developed within 3 months and a lot of hours every single week -hard work- but in fact more love 😊. I got quoted +$35,000 to make an app with the same functions so please enjoy your visit and respect my time. I'm constantly improving features and look but you're more than welcome to report any bug.
